Inline Selection: Making a 10-Section Form Feel Intuitive

Every business’s bottom line benefits from an intuitive form. When you reduce the time and effort required to fill out the form, users are more likely to complete it successfully. However, a form with many sections full of input selections is the most challenging to design. Most designers don’t have an answer for them.

What do you do when every section contains several options users have to select from? Simply displaying them all on a single page or across multiple pages does little to reduce the cognitive load. Users are still overwhelmed with the number of options and selections they have to make.
