Why Center-Aligned Dialogs Have Better UX

Breaking the traditional modal dialog

Every detail matters when you design a modal dialog. This includes the alignment of text and buttons within the window itself. Most designers left-align the text and right-align the buttons because it's the convention they're familiar with. However, a centered layout can actually provide a better user experience.

A left-aligned dialog takes more time and effort to scan. It also fails to guide the scanning toward crucial messages. In addition, it doesn't easily adapt to mobile screen sizes.
